Versatile functions, individual or combined

TORMAX door leaves can be equipped with individual or combined functions such as radiation, fire and smoke protection, sound insulation, climate and stress classes or for applications in damp and wet rooms, with the matching door frame on request. The door leaves can be used for swing, double-action or sliding doors and for manual or automatic operation. Of course, we also offer door leaves for normal standard applications. Thanks to our proven modular system and flexible production, we are able to combine the various functions as desired. We also offer commercially attractive solutions for small series. Special doors, for example with pinch protection or in special sizes, complete our product range.

Certified quality

The statutory building and environmental guidelines in the public and commercial sectors place very specific requirements on doors and their functions. TORMAX door leaves are extensively tested to ensure that they fulfil their function reliably and are certified accordingly.

Individual design

We configure the door leaves to meet your specific requirements and are able to dimension them flexibly in millimetre increments: door thicknesses up to 70 mm, door widths up to 2,000 mm, door heights up to 2,750 mm. Windows of almost any shape and type – for example with radiation protection – can be integrated flush with the door leaf. Damp and wet rooms

The product range covers door leaves for damp and wet rooms including steel frames, corrosion-resistant stainless steel frames and corresponding accessories such as wet room locks, stainless steel hinges or portholes. Special solutions, such as wet room locker doors, shower enclosures made of HPL solid core material and door leaves with special coatings complete the range.

Damp room

Particularly suitable for use in rooms with increased humidity and low splash water exposure

Frame: 3-sided MDF or wooden frame, underside PU recycling panels, 100 % water-resistant

Inner layer: 36 mm solid plastic – rigid foam or 33 mm tubular chipboard
Top layer: 0.8 or 2.0 mm high-pressure laminate according to DIN EN 438, waterproof gluing with 2-component polyurethane adhesive
Edges: butt or with standard rebate according to DIN 18101, executed as 3-sided, concealed solid plastic or wooden edging, finishing possible

Wet room

Particularly suited for rooms with constant humidity and heavy exposure to splash water and aggressive cleaning agents
Additional functions, such as fire protection, radiation protection or sound insulation on request
Door leaves made of multi-layer composite panels with a thickness of approx. 40 mm and following DIN 68706 part 1
Frame: 4-sided PU frame (50 or 80 mm) made of PU recycled panels, 100 % water-resistant
Inner layer: 36 mm solid plastic – rigid foam or honeycomb core, raw density 80 kg/m³
Top layer: 2.0 mm high-pressure laminate according to DIN EN 438, waterproof gluing with 2-component polyurethane adhesive
Edges: butt or with standard rebate according to DIN 18101, designed as 3- or 4-sided, concealed solid plastic edging, finishing possible

Radiation protection

We offer door leaves for radiation protection with 1, 2 or 3 mm lead inlays to fulfil the protection requirements in clinics, doctor's surgeries and laboratories. The shielding effect has been verified by an independent body. The door leaves can, of course, also be fitted with windows made of radiation shielding glass.

Fire and smoke protection

Our door leaves for fire and smoke protection meet the EI₁30 / EI₂30 (fire protection) and S_a / S₂₀₀ (smoke protection) standards. The heat- and fire-resistant door leaf panels provide at least 30 minutes of fire resistance. The optionally installed windows and the door handles are also specially designed for fire protection applications.

Sound insulation

TORMAX door leaves for soundproof doors effectively reduce noise impact and are tailored to your specific requirements. They are tested and certified up to class 3 (Rw = 37 dB) in relation to the overall door system with door leaf, door frame and fittings.

Finger protection

In Germany, doors in daycare centres must have a protective device to prevent fingers from getting trapped. Effective finger protection is just as important in many other public buildings. Our finger protection doors ensure comprehensive protection against injuries.
